German biodiesel consumption in June totaled 194,299 mt, up 6.2% month on month but 1.4% lower on the year, according to data from the country's federal office of economics export control, or BAFA.
Ethanol consumption in June was 100,931 mt, down 1% month on month and down 2% from June 2018.
Diesel consumption fell 7.7% month on month and 4.8% year on year to 3.02 million mt, taking the biodiesel incorporation rate to 6.4% on a volumetric basis, down from 5.6% in May and 6.2% a year ago.
Gasoline consumption fell 1.9% month on month and 4.1% year on year to 1.536 million mt. That took the ethanol incorporation rate to 6.6% on a volumetric basis, up from 6.5% in May.
E10 consumption fell 3.8% from May to 208,685 mt in June, although this was also 4.1% higher than the year before.
