For the third time this year, the Powerball jackpot is worth more than $400 million as there were no grand-prize winners for the drawing held on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
The jackpot increased by $1 million more than originally announced. During the drawing, it was announced the jackpot was for $391 million, instead of the $390 million originally announced by lottery officials.
Because there were no jackpot winners, that means the drawing on Wednesday, July 27 will be worth $422 million and a cash option of $291 million.
