During the second day of the Facebook F8 conference, the company unveiled the prototype demonstration of its latest virtual reality program ToyBox. But this version provided a major turning point: Selfie (self-made photo) RV. Between its main idea, CTO of Facebook Mike Schroepfer put a device Oculus Rift and belonged to another person in the RV in a remote locale. The old version of ToyBox demonstration, which we saw in October, was a ping-pong match-u virtual real time. But this time, after some chitchat, Schroepfer traveled with his friend to a three dimensional computer environment, 360-degrees, London.
Upon arriving, the user far played a resort manager, showing Oculus person wore on stage around a static 360-degree photo of London. Using such a system, together with equipment Oculus, a leading local tourism can give another person a full tour of a location without the need that the person getting on a plane. But no tour is not completed without a selfie, and here is where Facebook surprised us. The remote user drew a stick selfie VR, which had a mirror virtual end, and placed his head to RV’s head Schroepfer the RV, allowing them to make a selfie the RV together in London from the comfort of country their respective owners. Of course, the establishment does not show their real faces, but somewhat surprisingly, a multi-angular drawing their faces, but the demonstration was again breathtaking. And it is just a matter of time when we can see the real faces tilla- environments and here things get really interesting.
