[fm]: Pistons owner Gores backs telethon for Flint with up to $1M

Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores says he'll match donations up to a total of $1 million generated by a telethon to help Flint children and families amid the city's crisis with lead-tainted water.
Detroit's WDIV-TV on Tuesday hosts "Flint Water Crisis: 4 Our Families (#FlintKids)" to benefit the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and its Flint Child Health and Development Fund. Localized versions of the telethon will air on several other stations.
Gores, a Flint native, earlier pledged to raise $10 million to help the city.
If consumed, lead can cause developmental delays and learning disabilities. There are a number of efforts taking place to boost Flint education, health and support programs.
Art Van Furniture is part of the telethon effort and has pledged up to $100,000.
