[fm]: Miitomo Launches In Japan March 17th

Nintendo’s first-ever mobile game Miitomo will launch in Japan on March 17th. From now until March 16th, people are still able to pre-register for the game and in turn a Nintendo Account. No release date has been confirmed for either North America or Europe, but Nintendo promises a worldwide roll-out across 16 countries and 11 language options.
Miitomo will be compatible with iOS 7.0 or Android 4.0.3 and higher respectively, and can only be played online.
Miitomo was announced almost a year ago as the first step in Nintendo’s collaboration with mobile company DeNA. It marks the first of five mobile apps Nintendo will release from now until March 2017. In addition, DeNA has helped Nintendo to develop the Nintendo Account system to unite users across various platforms. The company’s second mobile app will feature a beloved property that is “well known to everyone”, and all five of them will be free-to-play.
